3. Make sure the chips are pointing the right

way.

Take a careful look at the top

the memory chips. You'll

see a small indentation, notch, or marking at one end of

the chip.

Examine the

two

rows

memory chips currently installed in

the computer. Notice the indentation on the chips

pointing

towards the center

the system board (toward the back of

the unit).
